Come join the city’s annual fireworks extravaganza at Richmond Marina Bay Park (MAP) on the 3rd of July!
This year's family-friendly event will take place on Monday, July 3, 2023, starting at 5 pm and ending at 10 pm. The fireworks display starts at 9:15 pm, so get there early to secure a good spot.
Once you arrive, you’ll enjoy a delightful evening filled with live music, good food, and activities suitable for the whole family. There will be a diverse range of food trucks and vendors offering delectable treats, so make sure to come with a hearty appetite!
Don't forget to bring your lawn chairs and blankets for seating. It will be cool and possibly breezy as the sun sets, so bring jackets too.
Admission to the event is free, and parking spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The city staff who did such a great job organizing this event ask you to consider walking, biking, carpooling or using public transportation to get there, which will help alleviate traffic congestion and parking limitations.
